<p>Listening to Nova 100 this morning, I heard a discussion about crows and ravens. After hearing a few people refer to a group of ravens as a &#8220;flock of ravens&#8221;, I remembered that a group of crows is known as a &#8220;murder of crows&#8221; which is a <em>really </em>mad collective noun.</p>
<p>There are even better collective nouns, including a <em>conspiracy of ravens. </em>My favourite collective nouns include:</p>
